Habitatcare and Protection Initiative is a non governmental organization established in 2005 in Owerri, Imo State Nigeria. Habitatcare is focused on environmental protection, water, sanitation and hygiene in partnership with the Imo State Ministry of Environment. We have experience in cut-cross issues such as HIV/AIDS, Orphans and Vulnerable Children, Youth Enhancement, Democratic Process, Accountability and Transparency.
Habitatcare is an emerging force in the quest to maintain sustainable balance in our ecosystem. We believe that our natural endowments should be used putting in mind that future generations deserve to also benefit from these free gifts of nature.
He holds an MSc in Chemistry. Tony has over 15 years experience in the civil society. He is a leading official of some NGO networks including SEBNET, CiSHAN, etc. He has wide experience in NGO and development work comprising the following thematic areas: environment, advocacy/policy, health (HIV/AIDS/TB/Malaria), democracy,accountability, transparency etc. Tony is a consultant in Chemical/Environment matters.
Ulor has garnered over seven years of nonprofit experience. He holds a BSc Degree in Geography and Environmental Management from the Imo State University. ‘Emeka built his professional experience through volunteer work. He earned a diploma in Journalism from the International Institute of Journalism, Abuja. Ulor has strong interest in sustainable development; he has coordinated World Environment Day activities, Hip-Hop Against HIV/AIDS , Youth enhancement activities and UN Global Road Safety Collaboration among others.
